My inspiration to paint began in my teens. Living in rural Oklahoma I appreciated the nostalgia of an old homestead or laundry on the line. I find beauty in the past and want to go back and spend some time there. These scenes may eventually vanish but I have done my part to remember a simpler time for others to enjoy.
